Preschool Grad

Well, it's official. My little love bug is not a baby anymore. She's not a toddler. She's not even a preschooler. She's a KINDERGARTNER..... a school aged CHILD headed to full time big kid school! wow! I am NOT ready for that, but I know that (despite our anxieties) she is ready.

Bug had to miss the pre-k graduation ceremony and reception (they were the same night as the mandatory dress rehearsal for dance recital). So, the school did a mini ceremony just for her during chapel time the following Monday! She even got to wear a cap and gown and walk down the aisle to Pomp and Circumstance! SO cute!!!! Children's Corner is awesome!!! Kylee was a nervous about walking down the aisle by herself. So, her best friend escorted her down.

The director presented her with a diploma and a bag full of goodies! She even got to keep her tassel. One of the neatest things in the bag was a graduation autograph book with special notes from her teachers.

Since Kylee didn't get to be there for the graduation reception, we had a small celebration for her at home on the day that she "walked".

She decided to change into her recital costume for her party.

Here are a few pictures of her on her first and last days of Pre-K. I can't believe how much she has changed!!

The clothes/accessories and poses are 100%  her. She's a mess! I tried to get her to wear the same dress on the last day that she wore on the first, but she said it wasn't fancy enough. Since Bug refused to wear the first day dress, Bear volunteered to wear it. They are both getting so big!!
