At the beginning of December, my mom and I took the girls to Grapevine for the weekend. Grapevine is the Christmas capital of Texas. One of the first things we did was ride the North Pole Express. It was so much fun!! Before boarding the train, we watched volunteers preform Christmas songs. On the train, the Christmas carols continued. All the kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas (just like on the movie Polar Express). A conductor comes by and punches your ticket (like in the movie). During the ride, the kids also received greetings from Mrs. Claus and a bell necklace from Santa. Afterwards we drank hot cocoa and made ornaments.
