Monday morning we read Scrambled Eggs Super by Dr. Seuss. Then Kylee helped me make and eat 'E' shaped eggs.
After that, she matched the tops and bottoms of Easter eggs,
sorted Easter eggs into "families" by color,
and found out how fast she could walk without making an egg fall off a spoon.
Later Alycia came over and cooked various kinds of eggs for the girls to eat. Kylee liked scrambled the best. Carrie and I liked over hard.
Then the girls dyed hard boiled eggs by dipping them in cold water and covering them with colored crepe paper.
Kylee also glued the left over egg shells (pre-boiled to remove bacteria) from the day on an 'e'.
I love Carrie's smile in that pic :)The eggshell "e" and the egg "families" are brilliant. I think I'll do the "families" with Carrie on easter!
