Thursday ended up being the perfect day for the zoo! The weather was gorgeous! Even though we didn't get there until after noon, it wasn't crowded at all, and the animals were very active. As far getting to see the animals up close, I think this was our best zoo trip yet! :)
I am so proud of Makenna! She remembered a lot of the animals sounds. As soon as we got to the elephant, she started trying to trumpet. When we got to the lion, she roared. She made fishy noises when we passed the big fish tank, and when I asked her what the giraffe was doing she made chewing sounds!
Can't wait to go next week!!
