Last Saturday we looked up the letter 'd' in Dr. Seuss's ABC Book. Suess mentions "a dozen doughnuts and a duck-dog too." We talked about how many are in a dozen. Then we bought and counted a dozen doughnuts and a dozen eggs. We munched on the doughnuts while we dyed the eggs (and painted a few). After getting dirty, the girls took a bath with a dozen duck-dogs, which Kylee counted and matched.
