Lion
We read Tawny Scrawny Lion, The Lion and the Mouse, and We're Going on a Lion Hunt. We went on a lion hunt for our Scentsy lion and made lion snacks. Kylee also made a lion paper bag puppet.
Leaf
We went outside to look for leaves. We used them to make leaf rubbings and then glued them on construction paper to make a collage. Kylee colored over the rubbings and put her collage outside for "caterpillar food". So, no pictures. They girls also had leaves (salad) for lunch.
Lei, Luau, & Lunch
We wore leis and had a luau at lunch, nothing elaborate, just enough so that Kylee believed it.
Ladybugs
We stole Alycia's craft idea and made ladybug spinners that spin when the fan is on. We also read Are You a Ladybug and made ladybug cupcakes.
LOVE the new cooking gear! :)
