Last week we talked about snakes. We read Hide and Snake, played hide the snake with Kylee's plush rattlesnake, and constructed snakes using the cards from the game "Hiss".
We learned about snails by reading Are You A Snail? The next day we made snakes, snails, and slugs out of playdoh. Then we played the board game "Snails Pace Race". Even though the game is designed to be noncompetitive, Kylee couldn't resist cheating for the pink snail. She just couldn't stand to see pink in the back of the pack.
The girls also ate suckers and ran around Suites and Treats (http://www.suitesntreats.com/).
