You can't talk about the letter m without making mud pies. Last Friday the girls made mud pies in the backyard. When they were done with their pies, they shared a pretend mud pie snack (chocolate pudding and crushed oreos). They rinsed off on their sprinkles mat and then came inside for a bath. After the bath, we read Mud Puddle.
The day before that we talked about monkeys. We read Monkey's Miserable Monday, looked at pictures of monkeys in a science book, sang "10 Little Monkeys", and ate monkey mash (banana pudding with extra banana chunks)
On Sunday, Robert and I took Kylee to the movies for the first time. We intended on seeing 'Rio', but when got there, we found out it wasn't playing after all. So, we settled for Kung Fu Panda. Kylee didn't care for the movie at all, but I think she enjoyed the experience.
We also did some M&M math and marble painted the letter 'm'.
