Pumpkin Party (Part 2)

Linus believes that the Great Pumpkin flies through the air and delivers bags of toys to all the children at the most sincere pumpkin patch. Ours was definitely the most sincere patch. So, after the kids finished painting, The Great Pumpkin (Kylee) handed out pumpkin themed goody bags filled with books, bubbles, stickers,  and suckers.

After that, Grandma stopped by and read It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. The kids also got a copy of the book to take home.

Before the party, the girls helped me make pumpkin muffins (easiest thing EVER to make) and pumpkin shaped rice crispy treats. I ordered an adorable cake from our friend, Grace (Sugar Fairy Sweets), and thanks to our guests, we also enjoyed pumpkin pie, pumpkin shaped sugar cookies, and Halloween themed jello jigglers.

The pumpkin party has become one of my favorite traditions with the girls. It took a lot of work (and put me a little over budget), but it was all worth it.

Next year we may have to scale back a bit or start charging admission. :)
