Over fall break we: played at Charli's house, built race cars and learned how to make fire at the Great Plains Museum, found buffalo, longhorn, and deer at the refuge, painted pumpkins in our backyard, visited Kylee's favorite dog at the kennel, and fed giraffes at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
We have a busy week coming up this week (Halloween week), but after that, I think I'm going to try to lay low for a bit. Our "special" activities don't seem quite as special when we do them all the time. I don't want Kylee (or Makenna) to grow up thinking people need to jump through hoops to entertain her everyday. Princesses are great. Prima donnas are not.
