This week we started talking about the letter T. Monday we had tea for two. Kylee wore her Tinkerbell dress and had a tea party with me. We drank sweet tea and ate T shaped "treats" (sugar cookies) that we made together earlier in the day. We were going to watch her Tinkerbell dvd, but I can't find it. :( So we just watched a few minutes of it on YouTube.
Yesterday Kylee had her 6 month dental checkup. So, we spent the day talking about teeth. We brushed her teeth an extra time, looked at her teeth in the mirror, and watched the white teeth episode of Sid the Science Kid. I am so proud of how well she did at the dentist! She was awesome! She was very polite and let the hygienist not only brush, but floss her teeth! She got a little silly at the end, but just enough to be amusing and not disruptive. The dentist and hygienist were both impressed when Kylee noticed a poster and pointed out that the first tooth was pretty but the second tooth had a cavity, "because they didn't brush their teeth good". Dr. Jackson said that her teeth are a good color and that she has no cavities!
