Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

March 2 was Dr. Seuss's birthday. I made Kylee a special, seussical lunch (green eggs & ham; 1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish; and a pink ink drink) in honor of his birthday.

Kylee did lots of fun Seuss themed activities at school including making green eggs &  ham treats out of pretzels and chocolate and getting a visit from the Cat in the Hat. After school/work, we had a Dr. Seuss book-a-thon. We didn't quite get through all of our Seuss books, but we read most of them.
Saturday we continued our celebration by making "Foot Book" feet paintings and mixing up a batch of oobleck.

Kylee decided the oobleck made a "marvelous foot bath".

Makenna agreed.
